It's never too late to learn.

I am a engineer, but I did never think that I can replace cable line and restore the internet by myself. Now, I did it.

Before, I did the deposition of all chips and products in my perious work experience. I can conduct the automatic software system by VB and simulate device performance by SPICE. However, I can not image that one day I will have to take over the network in my dorm. What are the function of a modem, a switch, a router, AP? How can they communicate to each other in order to let users(residents) successfully connect to the internet? How to make CAT5e connectors? Today, I learned that. I gained a lot of information from the internet and put them into pratice. The knowledge plus in Yahoo and Wikipedia indeed helped me a lot.

Some people might argue that online systems or internet bring lots of crimes and virus to modern life. However, I state that only a very small portion of the Internet contains offensive materials. In fact, the most significant new properties of the Internet media are the diversity of information sources and their ability to reach almost everywhere in the world. I love to browse through the answers online.

It's never too late to learn.

The below pic shows the server room transferred from the previous RA. So mess!!

$700 experience

Thanks for this cherished experience which cost me $700.00 dollars.
Being easy to distract and greedy is my demerits. I have to overcome that.
In this opportunity, I totally understood what you taught me. Before, I lost lots of things and was immature. I wanted to grab all things on hand; however, got nothing eventually.

I desired more and did not satisfy the current circumstances.
Sometimes, I stood in front of the goal.
I wonder if my energy came from the ambition or escape.
escape from the current circustance.
I have to cherish present time and the person I met.

Just achieving one thing at one time.
Do not let other thing to disvert me.
Thanks!

Loading?

Sometimes, I am afraid of making a change. I always thought that I was overloaded with lots of responsibilities and felt frustrated. However,

How many loadings do I have?

Take a look of my package of visiting in Denver. One luggage and a hand carry bag.
That's all!

Am I overloaded or overstating?

The Getty Center

The Getty Center is my favorite place in L.A.

The Getty Center, a dramatic hilltop campus designed by Richard Meier, opened in 1997 and celebrates its tenth anniversary in 2007. You can see a nice landscape and view the L.A there. Among the exhibitions I saw, Edward Weston is my favorite. It is among America's most revered photographers....

Cheer, Curry and Chilli

It's my first time to cook in the U.S.
Vegetable curry was accomplished by
Unfamiliar pot and bowls
un-labeled bake

a cozy house full of rice smell
Good!!

Don't ask me...

Don't ask me if I wanted to marry a rich America guy in order to get a green card.
I don't want and I would not like to do so.

I felt annoyed and insulted when you guys asked that even though you did not mean that. I am financially independent and have intelligence to choose whom to love. I desired for the freedom and democracy in the U.S., but not the unfamiliar love.

Don't ask me that again!

So Cool, and So Cold !!

So Cool, and So Cold !!

It is my first time to do snow skiing at breckenridge@ Colorado. Although it was only -11C and heavy snow there, Hsuan's cousin took us to the breckenridge with her lovely dog, juggle. I even can't believe that I can survive in such a cold weather.

For me, snow skiing is not as difficult as ice skiing. I fell down several times when learning ice skiing at young ages. But for snow skiing, I did well and felt confident. At first, the coach taught us
how to wear shoes, how to keep balance on the snow and how to stand with one leg. After that, we learned how to stop and to turn smoothly. I was so excited and tried several times. I think it is more fun then surfing becuase I do not need to wait for proper wave to surf for a long time(just in case in Taiwan). Even though I got muscular pains and tired, I still looked forward to next trip of snow skiiing.
